Hola aqui, Lord Garth here.

Today in Goblindom we’re going to celebrate some of cinemas finest beatings. Giggle!

I’m sure we may be missing many glorious ass whuppins, so feel free to contribute. It is, after all, a beautifully fun topic to discuss and debate.

1. Goodfellas, The Beatdown Of Billy Bats

Scorsese may very well be our generation’s finest director. He is, hands down, the king of beatdown films and Goodfellas is far and away the undisputed king of his beatdown catalog with many to choose from.

No shines, Billy

2. Star Trek III The Search For Spock, Kirk Vs. Kruge

Kirk beats Kruge with a log and kicks him in the head until he falls burning to his death

JJ already prepping a pussified rip-off of this scene

3. Darker Than Amber, Rod Taylor vs William Smith

Arguably the greatest beatdown ever filmed for a motion picture because it was reportedly a real fucking fight!

Can someone please point me to the local vegan cafe? I have a democratic socialist SJW resistance meeting I need to get to.

4. Out For Justice, Barfight scene

Seagal may be a fatass  “alleged” sexual harasser clown (like Harry) now but at one time he was legitimately one of the baddest Doods on the planet and of his many early films that featured iconic beatdowns, Out For Justice may be the best of the bunch.

In 20 years I’ll be a 400-pound Russian ambassador

5. The Equalizer, Little Johnny Scene

I’m a huge fan of Antoine Fuqua. Other than the Olympus film, which sucked shit, and his Magnificent Seven remake which did entertain me, but I found ultimately disappointing (I still loved Denzel’s performance), I love his films.

I really love the Equalizer series and in the first film there is a beatdown scene that is truly something to behold.

6. They Live, Roddy Piper Vs. Keith David

Roddy Piper vs. Keith David fantastic visceral beatdown from a film that prophesied the Deep State. John Carpenter’s last brilliant film may also be one of his best. It also features an epic all time beatdown.

Obey
Yep, about what I figured

8. Fight ClubHulk Vs. Hot Topic Joker

First rule of Fight Club is no fake emo Jokers in Fight Club

9. True Romance, Virgil Vs. Alabama

It sees Alabama (Patricia Arquette) returning to the motel room where she and Clarence are staying to find James Gandolfini’s Virgil sitting there, shotgun across his lap, ready to reclaim the stolen coke.

At first, she plays dumb. But eventually, he loses patience and cracks her in the jaw, and so begins a brutal beatdown to the death.

Wait! Where is #10?

That’s where you come in, friend.

Let us know in the comments below what your favorite beatdown scene is and we’ll publish it in a new list!
