What A Gal!
The original Wonder Woman movie seems to get a lot of praise simply by being DC movie that didn’t completely suck. One thing is for sure though, Gal Gadot completely owns the role and is a mesmerising lead, with a hint of mischief in ethereal beauty. Let’s be honest, we are all a little bit in love with her.
With the news that Warner Bros. is skipping San Diego Comic Con this year, it falls to Director Patty Jenkins to bring us news about the sequel, Wonder Woman 1984, via her own social media. She has just revealed a new teaser poster for the movie.
Spoilers Below
The report indicates Diana Prince starts out the film acting as a spy during the Cold War. She is on a spy hunt vs. the Soviet menace.
Barbara Minerva idolises Wonder Woman. Into this steps Maxwell Lord, long time DC villain and frequent foil in CWs Supergirl. He is a man who can make anybody’s dreams come true, but at what cost?

Is this the role Pascal will play?
It’s through Lord’s unnatural powers that Steve Trevor is apparently able to return, while Minerva gets granted the abilities to be a hero like her idol until the bestial side of her new nature begins to take over.
Wonder Woman 1984 is released June 2020 after being pushed back twice.
