It has been a rumour for a while, but now the man himself confirmed that he’s ready to take control of Daniel Craig’s final outing as 007 in Bond 25?

At a screening of his FX series Trust he appeared to spill the beans:

“We are working on a script right now. And it all depends on that really. I am working on a Richard Curtis script at the moment. We hope to start shooting that in 6 or 7 weeks. Then Bond would be right at the end of the year. But we are working on them both right now.

We’ve got an idea, John Hodge, the screenwriter, and I have got this idea, and John is writing it at the moment. And it all depends on how it turns out. It would be foolish of me to give any of it away.”

It was a strong rumour that he had pitched an idea to producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson and they had really approved of his idea on where to take the story.

No casting news, theme singer, title or plot details yet except what the lazy British tabloids will try to tell you.

Bond 25 is aiming for a November 2019 release.
