That Was 8:48 Well Spent

Rami Malek post-Oscar travels brought him to The Late Show last night for a sit down with Stephen Colbert.

Colbert opens with Oscar congrats for playing Freddie Mercury.

Predictably, it was the best crowd pop of the interview.

I clapping harderer than you!!

Amazingly enough, Colbert managed not to drive me crazy within two minutes and did the impossible by actually informing me.

I can honestly say I never thought Craig’s kiss has the power to create Bond girls.

But it’s true! 3:18, see for yourself.

“And I can’t tell who initiated the next moment…”

Uh, oh.

“And I’m going to say that Daniel initiated it.”

Lots of “initiating” going on there, Rami.

Malek has certainly paid his dues and it’s nice to see some big projects come his way.

Although, I am bummed he’s not attached to the upcoming Villeneuve Dune pic as Piter DeVries.

All respect to David Dastmalchian, who is weird enough in his own right, but Malek could have pulled off the slithery action and words of the twisted Harkonnen Mentat.

No Time To Die opens April 8, 2020 in the US.
