Jim’s Been Hitting That Nostalgia Crack Pipe Again

Arnold Schwarzenegger has said that James Cameron is very involved in the making of Terminator: Dark Fate.

The sixth movie of the franchise is being directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) with Cameron serving as a producer.

Cameron is currently working on the sequel(s) to 2009’s Avatar, but Arnie says:

Terminator: Dark Fate is in good hands with both James Cameron and Tim Miller working on the upcoming movie… but he’s a control freak and as you know, Terminator is his baby so he does get involved in the filming so there were interesting discussions about which direction to go with a certain scene or how the dialogue should finish or what the certain look should be of an individual and all that stuff so there was a big collaboration between James and Tim Miller. I feel it is in good hands with both of them.”

Terminator: Dark Fate is considered a direct sequel to the first two installments of the franchise and will recollect the events of later films Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines (2003), Terminator Salvation (2009) and Terminator Genisys (2015).

This will be Schwarzenegger’s fifth Terminator movie and brings together producers David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger who worked with Cameron back in 1984 on the original Terminator.

So, does this mean Cameron is back to tidy and clean up the franchise? One can only hope.
