This Is Not A Game
Warner Brother just released a new trailer for the upcoming comedy Game Night, a murder mystery comedy movie opening at the end of the month. This film takes the popular “game night” concept and turns it into a wild and violent thrill ride.
When a bunch of friends who meet up for their regular game nights discover that the murder mystery game they’re playing is actually for real, they all begin to freak out before realizing that the only way to survive is to finish the game.
The Players
Jason Bateman and Rachel McAdams star as the game hosts, joined by Billy Magnussen, Sharon Horgan, Jesse Plemons, Lamorne Morris, Kylie Bunbury, Danny Huston, Michael C Hall and Kyle Chandler. Game Night is directed by filmmaker duo John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein, who previously directed the Vacation reboot together. Mark Perez wrote the original screenplay.
Worth A Watch
This looks like it might be a helluva fun game. I loved the Ed Norton jab, and watching Kyle Chandler play wacko is good enough reason to check it out. Personally I really enjoyed Horrible Bosses , and seeing as its the same folks behind this one I think I´ll give it a chance.
