Rumoured before, but not confirmed, a chance sighting at Pinewood Studios seems to indicate that Christoph Waltz will reprise the role of Ernst Stavro Blofeld in Bond 25.

British showbiz reporter Baz Bamingboyle has said Waltz has been spotted shooting scenes at Pinewood Studios for the new film and when a visitor spotted him Waltz told them:

“You haven’t seen me”.

The Words Are Not Enough 007 fan podcast first surfaced these rumours in April.  This would seem to back these up.

It is speculated that an imprisoned Blofeld will have vital information on Rami Malek’s bioterrorist.

As we know from previous reports, Bond is living a tranquil retirement life in Jamaica that is interrupted when US agent Felix Leiter shows up and asks for help to rescue a kidnapped scientist which puts Bond on the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

This is Craig’s fifth and final appearance as James Bond.  Returning are Ralph Fiennes as M, Lea Seydoux as Dr. Madeleine Swann, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ben Whishaw as Q, with Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Jeffrey Wright as Felix.

Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch also star.

It opens April 8th, 2020.
