More heroics are incoming through the power of fambly and car. The kind of rampant heterosexuality that would make RuPaul give up and go home is about to return for the 9th time in another Fast And Furious movie.
Added to that, two previous cast members are confirmed as returning. Charlize Theron returns as cyber-terrorist Cipher, along with Helen Mirren, who will be back as the criminal mother to Jason Statham and Luke Evans, Magdalene Shaw.
The movie is currently filming.
Both made their first appearances in the previous film, 2017’s The Fate Of The Furious or Furious 8 depending on where you are in the world. Leader of the fambly and self-styled Head Of Franchise Operations, Vin Diesel took to Twitter to announce their return.
“We’ve got a lot of the original cast here, including Oscar winners like Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, a few new surprises, including John Cena, who, I think, completely shines in this movie.”
Theron’s character was recently discussed as a member of a potential spin-off film focusing on the female characters from the long-running film series because Oceans 8 did so well at the box office.
Michelle Rodriguez, Nathalie Emmanuel, Lucas Black, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris will all also return. Jordanna Brewster returns after a break for the last movie. Justin Lin directs the film which opens May 22nd, 2020.
