The Passion Returns

Jim Caviezel is apparently in talks to reprise his role of Jesus Christ in Mel Gibson’s sequel to The Passion of The Christ. The film will reportedly cover the resurrection of Christ. Obviously. Speaking to USA Today, Caviezel had this to say

“There are things that I cannot say that will shock the audience. It’s great. Stay tuned.” He continued, “I won’t tell you how he’s going to go about it. But I’ll tell you this much, the film he’s going to do is going to be the biggest film in history. It’s that good.”

Box Office Juggernaut

Caviezel played the role in the original 2004 film The Passion of The Christ, a blockbuster that grossed an impressive $612 million worldwide during its theatrical run. The film was nominated for three Academy Awards in 2005 and became the highest-grossing non-English language film in history.

Mel directs Jesus

What do you think Goblins? Are you ready for more Jesus ? What say you about Jim Caviezel reprising the role of Christ. Personally I have no real interest in these bible stories made into films. I did see the original, and although it was well made, It really wasn’t my kind of entertainment. Let your feelings be know in the comment section below.
