Axed Man Of Steel Swoops Into Another Franchise
Sunday’s rumour of the day suggests that Henry Cavill is next in line to take the role of James Bond immediately after Daniel Craig returns his Licence To Kill when filming wraps on Bond 25.
After his much publicised axing from the DCEU, Cavill and his team haven’t been hanging around securing new projects.
Following his turn in Mission Impossible: Fallout, he’s also been cast as the lead in Netflix‘s live action adaptation of the video game franchise The Witcher.
Even if MGM really do want Cavill, it’s unlikely that they’ll make any moves right now. They still need to deliver Bond 25, and make sure they really knock it out the park.
