I was never a religionist, so my knowledge of the best bits of the bible is limited to Religious Education classes at school thirty years ago, and The Omen movies.  However, I am pretty sure the big Good Vs Evil thing at the end included something about Jesus Christ returning.

The fate of all humanity seems a little too important to settle with an arm wrestle.

Well, we have already discussed one of the signs of the impending apocalypse here, we may also have confirmation of this second coming.  I know it’s hard to believe this but it appears that Zoolander obsessed Terrence Malick is responsible.

To be titled The Last Planet, it turns out he is already shooting in Anzio, just south of Rome, at the Tor Caledra nature reserve.
 

The film is also said to be about the life of Jesus Christ and will be told in the format of evangelical parables.  There is currently no news of casting.

Malick recently showed off his WW2 movie A Hidden Life at Cannes and sold it to Fox Searchlight for $14 million.
