Personally, I’m cool with the suit and with the stick-man Batman.
An actor who refuses to take the spike might be more like Batman in spirit than anyone who has ever played the Caped Crusader.
In any case, it’s much better to have a Skinny-Bat than the fat, alcoholic Batman with a huge square head in a half-assed The Dark Knight Returns suit.
