Animated Comedy Series About Alien Refugees
Rick And Morty fans, here’s some good news. Series co-creator Justin Roiland and writer/producer Mike McMahan will be creating a new Hulu original series, Solar Opposites.
McMahan corrected fans who were confused about the new show, perhaps assuming it was coming from Roiland and the other Rick And Morty co-creator, Dan Harmon.

Though Roiland is busy getting those upcoming seasons (plural) of Rick And Morty nice and schwifty for you nerds, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t found the time to keep multiple plates spinning in the air. Get ready to get used to hearing a lot more of his voice.
Solar Opposites is about a family of aliens from a “better world” who come to Earth to hide among mid-western Americans and can’t decide how they feel about their new home. Roiland is set to voice both the characters “Terry” and “Korvo,” and will be joined by fellow cast members Sean Giambrone and Mary Mack.
Hulu is the streaming home for Rick And Morty along with other adult animated shows, including Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy and South Park.
20th Century Fox Television is behind Solar Opposites, making it the studio’s first production for Hulu. Roiland and McMahan will have to split their time between the new show and Rick And Morty, as the latter was recently picked up for a stunning 70-episode renewal by Adult Swim, ensuring it will be on the air well into the 2020s.
