Sly is back in the gym preparing for Rambo 5, and still lifting more weight than people a quarter of his age.
The actor posted a new training video on social media while wearing a shirt with John Rambo’s mugshot on it and listening to the Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle.” Sly’s back and he’s getting pumped for the next Rambo installment:
John Rambo first appeared in the novel First Blood, by David Morrell. That was adapted into the film of the same name in 1982, with Sylvester Stallone playing the troubled Vietnam veteran. But whereas Morrell’s novel featured Rambo dying at the end, the movie let him survive, and he was brought back for a bunch of sequels.
Hopefully we’ll get a Rambo 5 filming update in the coming weeks.
