Hello, Peeps

Some good news not just for anime fans, but for all fans of animation.

It was recently announced that Studio Ghibli will be bringing its entire catalog to digital.

Going digital is just like going to the store. Right?

Studio Ghibli is best known as home to legendary Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki and his resume of award-winning films such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle and My Neighbor Totoro.

What is that? I don’t really know, I’m a little more worried about this animal on my head at the moment.

But they have also produced a number of other acclaimed works such as the Academy Award-nominated films When Marnie Was There and The Wind Rises.

This has been a long time coming. Miyazaki is a traditionalist and has been averse to his films being distributed any way other than either in theaters or on disks.

Each film is expected to cost $19.95 and will be available to purchase on platforms such as Amazon, iTunes, and Google.

Seeing blue flowers might be a sign of something else.

If you don’t wanna pony up $20 to download any of the films and have time to wait, then don’t worry because they will also be available on HBO Max when it debuts in May 2020.
