You Call Yourself A Movie Fan?

How many times you go to the movies last year?

How many times?

I saw nineteen movies in the theater last year! Nineteen!

Some of them more than once!

How many movies you see?

You see this stub? You see this ticket stub?

This is the ticket stub I used to see Deadpool 2 twelve times in the theater!

Where’s your reserved seat for Rambo: Last Blood?

How can you refuse to give two hours for Stallone but give a whole day to another Netflix series you don’t even like?

The movie’s out there. You wanna watch it, those kills are yours.

You don’t  —  I have no sympathy for you. You wanna go out there this weekend and watch? Watch, it’s yours. If not, you’re going to be polishing that Rambo IV DVD.

And you know what you’ll be saying?

Bunch of losers, channel surfing on the couch.

“Oh yeah, I used to be into movies. But they don’t make ’em like they used to.”

You Heard That Before, You’ll Hear It Again

Today actually is officially “Rambo Day”, so I’ve got some special treats for you, the faithful Film Goblin Horde.

First, a short Behind The Scenes featurette with Sly himself:

Is it my imagination or is Stallone turning into some kind of Frankenstein steroid monster? His head is enormous — at least two Bonds wide.

Next, I’ve got a few video retrospectives from our friends over at Midnight Edge. They put out some of the best genre commentary and industry analysis of anyone on YouTube.

I used to feature them over on Channels, but since very few people were visiting that section of the site I stopped updating it.

Hell, all of you degenerates are probably watching the same channels I am.

These retrospectives are pretty thorough and thoughtful and contain a lot of material that both Rambo veterans and boots will find interesting.

I’ve also included their overall franchise breakdown from a few months ago.

Thank you all for your readership and I’ll see you gentlemen in the seats.
