In this genre entertainment game, a site’s fortune may depend on a mere scrap of information. Since those leaked Black Widow set photos from a few weeks ago, everyone has been speculating on whether the dufus in the Power Ranger outfit was some jacked-up Taskmaster.

Definitely not George Soros, either

Hell, I still can’t tell. Taskmaster’s suit is kind of blue. But it’s definitely him.

Here is a scrap of information to prove it:

In case you are wondering, Andy Park is the head of Marvel Studios concept art so his illustrations pretty much turn up in the movies exactly as you see them.

A “keyframe illustration” is defined as portraying an important storytelling element from the production, so you can guarantee that just like in the description of the Comic-Con footage, Black Widow is going to fight Taskmaster on a bridge at some point.

I have to say that this Taskmaster costume, which is more or less like the version in a recent Spider-Man video game, give me more confidence in the Black Widow movie.

I just hope it’s not some dumb plot about Russians doing bad things to our “democratic institutions” that don’t reflect our “shared values” and “who we are as a people” or whatever.

We get enough dumb hoaxes in real life, we don’t need them in the MCU.

Black Widow won’t need any phantom Fandango tickets when it premieres on May 1, 2020.
