First-Look Images Released From HBO
Morning Goblins, we have some first-look images from HBO’s much, long-awaited Deadwood movie.
Deadwood wrapped up on HBO 12 years ago, after only being on air for 3 seasons. But who would have wagered that HBO could revive the original cast to make this movie? Well… those bets are now off.
We have shots of Ian McShane reprising his role as Al Swearengen and Timothy Olyphant back as Seth Bullock.
Here is McShane’s Swearengen, and he looks to be standing at the bar of the Gem Theater:
And here’s Bullock polcing the town of Deadwood’s streets. He’s now a U.S. Marshal:
As I mentioned earlier, the rest of the main cast is returning, which includes Molly Parker (Alma Ellsworth), Paula Malcomson (Trixie), John Hawkes (Sol Star), Anna Gunn (Martha Bullock), Dayton Callie (Charlie Utter), Brad Dourif (Doc Cochran), Robin Weigert (“Calamity” Jane Canary), William Sanderson (E.B. Farnum), Kim Dickens (Joanie Stubbs) and Gerald McRaney (George Hearst).
The Deadwood movie is due to be released sometime in 2019.
