Greetings, Programs!

Well, 2019 is here and we are getting ready for this year’s onslaught of films. Which ones are worth looking at, and what will you miss?

Hit It

For me, the following are must-see films for 2019:

Glass (January 18)

Don’t blow it M.!

Rambo 5: Last Blood (Fall)

Hoping this ends with a bang!

Godzilla: King Of The Monsters (May 31)

Please be good, please be good!

John Wick: Chapter 3 (May 17)

John Wick: Chapter 2 was a step down from the first, but I have hope that part 3 will be better.

Avengers: Endgame (April 26)

MCU ends on this day.

Quit It

No desire to see the following:

Episode IX (Dec 20)

It’s dead Jim.

Captain Marvel (March 8)

No interest in seeing Captain Sourpuss at all

Untitled Terminator Reboot (November 1)

Until today, I thought the one in the middle was a dude!

Working title Terminator Trans-Genisys?

Men In Black: International (June 14)

Notice the one holding the bigger gun? This series was tired after part 2, did anyone really ask for this?

Dark Phoenix (June 7)

12 years and here we go again! Are there no other X-Men stories to tell?

Just The Tip

I may be persuaded to see the following:

Hellboy (April 12)

Joker (October 4)

Really on the fence for this one. Will need to see some footage on this.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (August 9)

Death Proof was the last thing Quentin Tarantino directed that I fully watched. I don’t seem to finish his films now. It’s gone from enjoying to enduring.

Spider-Man: Far From Home (July 5)

I’ve not enjoyed any Spider-Man film so I can’t imagine this will change that fact.

Alita: Battle Angel (February 14)

I keep getting a Spy Kids vibe from the stills, and not in a good way.

I Have A Headache

No chance in Hell will I pay to see the following:

It: Chapter Two

Aladdin

The Lion King

Dumbo

Pet Sematary

NOTE: Dragged Across Concrete still has no confirmed North America release date, so it’s not on the list.
