3 More Days To Halloween, Goblins! Silver Shamrock!

We’re almost at the end here folks, hope you have enjoyed this series. For the most part it has been a trip down memory lane.

I think it also speaks volumes about what is being produced today.

Ridley Scott’s 1979 Masterpiece Alien was another film that left a mark/scar in my scary film obsession in my youthful days. His take on a Haunted House is one of my favourite films.

I love the roller coaster ride with Cameron’s Alienswhich I saw in the theater as part of a double bill with Cronenberg’s The Fly. Scott’s slow burn and character development of the small cast really works here

Most of these films I watched on TV because the Canadian film rating system is quite different than what the US has. Not here to debate which one is better, but up here, if the film is Restricted, no one under 18 is permitted into the theater.

No exceptions.

There have been some changes over the years, they now have 18A where you can view a film with an adult.

I missed many great films theatrically due to this rule.

For the one or two of you that have not seen this yet…
