48 Hours Star Joins Growing Cast
Legendary actor Nick Nolte has been confirmed to star in new Star Wars live-action show, The Mandalorian.
With production already started, Nolte joins the other confirmed cast members including Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano.
The series will launch on Disney’s streaming Service, Disney+. Character details are under wraps, but the official synopsis is:
“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”
Jon Favreau is writing and executive producing with Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Colin Wilson. Filoni will share directing with Taika Waititi, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow.
