Let’s Make This Short and Sweet

J.J. Abrams is known for liking to keep everything secret before one of his films comes out, going so far as to lie about things that turn out to be true, such as who Benedict Cumberbatch was playing in Star Trek Into Darkness.

Disney clearly doesn’t seem to care how he likes to do things, because they are spoiling a lot of info about the plot and returning characters prior to Skywalker’s release.

In keeping with not caring about J.J., the Mouse House has released this short new trailer for the film before it hits theaters.

It’s a lot of recycled footage towards the end that we have all seen before.

The big takeaway is that it spoils the fact that Palpatine does not just show up out of nowhere. He has been secretly manipulating Kylo Ren for years and has once again been a behind the scenes puppet master.

He refers to Ren as “my boy”, but I think its more of a figure of speech than him saying he is his father.

It’s only a few short words, but always nice to hear James Earl Jones’ voice as Vader.

I will be there, many of you say you will not when Rise Of Skywalker opens next Friday.
