In the wake of James Franco’s well-received film adaptation of Sestero’s book The Disaster Artist, the dynamic duo from The Room(Greg Sestero and Tommy Wiseau) are back working together again after 15 years, releasing a trailer today for their new movie Best F(r)iends.

The trailer teases that Best F(r)iends is actually being released in two parts. It is both written and produced by Sestero (The Room), and according to the credits, Wiseau (The Room) is only acting this time (yes acting). The plot seems to centre on a drifter (Sestero) and a mortician (Wiseau) teaming up to stare lovingly at an ATM. The movie is being helmed by director Justin MacGregor.
The official synopsis:
An expedition across the Southwest introduces wild and crazy characters through a series of twisted and dark fables as both men learn a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty.
It’s impossible to tell from this trailer, but surely this will be more successful than Wiseau’s last project, The Neighbors, I can’t wait to see!
