So it looks like Mr. Jim Carrey’s painting career didn’t take off and he has decided to make movies again.

The stars are a nice touch Jim.

Jim’s new flick is called Dark Crimes and is based on the 2008 New Yorker article “True Crimes – A postmodern murder mystery” by David Grann.

Let’s take a look:

IMDb says Dark Crimes is about:

A murder investigation of a slain business man turns to clues found in an author’s book about an eerily similar crime

I say Dark Crimes is a dark and gloomy, cat and mouse, psycho-sexual, literary mindgame whodunnit with a twist ending and fake eastern European accents that most likely no one will watch on Netflix.

It looks like Jim is playing this one straight and won’t be talking out of his asshole when interrogating suspects.

Directed by Greek newcomer Alexandros Avranas waaay back in 2016,  the movie also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg and Marton Csokas.

Dark Crimes opens May 11th, 2018.

Somebody let me know how it is.
