Don’t Look Now!

Netflix has just dropped a trailer for Bird Box, a horror thriller from director Susanne Bier (The Night Manager) with a screenplay by Arrival’s Eric Heisserer. Here it is:

Bird Box features Sandra Bullock playing Malorie, a mother of two who will protect her family at all costs, and Sarah Paulson plays her sister Shannon.

The film’s official synopsis:

“When a mysterious force decimates the world’s population, only one thing is certain: if you see it, you take your life. Facing the unknown, Malorie finds love, hope and a new beginning only for it to unravel. Now she must flee with her two children down a treacherous river to the one place left that may offer sanctuary. But to survive, they’ll have to undertake the perilous two-day journey blindfolded.”

Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) and John Malkovich (In The Line Of Fire) are also playing major roles in the film.
