I feel like we’ve already seen a bunch of trailers for this Netflix original but in reality all we’ve glimpsed has been a teaser trailer, a poster, some stills and a video game trailer. Film Goblin also put together a Geek Dive into all the puppets in Age of Resistance and which actors are voicing them.
Come to think of it, that is a hell of a lot of visual content, all of which looks great. This new trailer — the first official trailer — is no different:
The puppet work from the Jim Henson Company under the direction of Louis Leterrier is stunning. I just wished they had called it The Dark Crystal: Darkening, as ages and resistances are so completely generic at this point.
