The Uber Movie With A Bodycount

In this first trailer for Stuber has landed, and it stars the unlikely duo of Kumanil Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Life As We Know It) and Dave Bautista (Riddick, Guardians Of The Galaxy).

“Nanjiani stars as average Uber driver named Stu, who picks up a passenger (Bautista) who turns out to be a cop hot on the trail of a brutal killer. Amid the very stressful ordeal, Stu desperately tries to hold onto his wits, his life and his five-star rating.”

Nanjiani has become something of a leading man after the success of The Big Sick. This is poised to be a big year for the comedian, after appearing in Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone reboot.

Directed by Michael Dowse and written by Tripper Clancy, Stuber also stars Iko Uwais, Natalie Morales, Betty Gilpin, Jimmy Tatro, Mira Sorvino and Karen Gillan. Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley produced the film.

Stuber is due to released 12 July this year.
