Drogon, Rhaegal & Ghost Survive The Battle Of Winterfell

As many of you predicted, there were some significant deaths in the Battle of Winterfell. But there’s still plenty to fight for, which is inevitable given there are three more episodes left.

Game Of Thrones just aired its longest ever episode, with the visually stunning Battle of Winterfell culminating in Arya Stark slaying the Night King with Littlefinger’s dagger. You can talk about that here.

The King Is Dead… Long Live The King

The teaser for episode 4 ramps up the final season as the preparations begin for the Battle of the Iron Throne.

One key observation of the preview is that three key characters survived the Battle of Winterfell, which was left slightly ambiguous in episode 3. Ghost, the direwolf, and both dragons, Drogon and Rhaegal, all made it.

Here’s the new teaser:

The teaser opens with the sunshine beaming down onto King’s Landing, before cutting away to Danaerys celebrating at Winterfell:

“We have won the Great War. Now we will win the Last War.”

A few more cuts, including this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene of Arya getting it on with Gendry again.

Before finally, the last line from Daenerys, “We’ll rip her out root and stem,” with a cut to Cersei on a boat.

One hopes those Targaryens are about to get loco!
