The people over at Screen Media Films, the studio behind Jeepers Creepers 3, see this another way:
Walter and his neglected wife lure a young man into their Victorian home to escape a hurricane. When the man is charged with murder by Det. Jones, he must reveal the couple’s wicked secrets to save himself.
From just looking at the trailer, you would never know that this wicked couple lured the young man. Maybe the summary should be labeled as a spoiler?

Didn’t Cage do a movie just like this back in the 1990s except he was playing the drifter? Red Rocks West or something?

Personally, I think the sexy bitch is running the whole show. Look at the trailer, look at her laughing about it. I say we do the whole fucking village.
In any case, the movie has Cage and Grammer together again for the first time, both of them are hamming it up like done tom turkeys.
