Ahoy Mateys!

Another day, another cop trailer. But this one seems much betterer.

The Line of Duty is a high octane, non-stop, straight-forward thriller that should give you your money’s worth at least.

What starts with a foot pursuit snowballs into a full-blown race against the clock throwdown, ala Speed and Nick of Time, with a young girl’s life hanging in the balance.

A disgraced cop finds himself in a race against time to find a kidnap victim whose abductor he accidentally killed.

So far so good.

Let’s Watch The Trailer:

TBH, I Have Concerns

Those concerns start about a minute in when we hear the big bad played by Ben McKenzie (Gotham) speak with a slightly Southern accent.

And you all know what that means: evil white men, i.e. racist white men.

I’m here to oppress you!

The Line of Duty also stars Aaron Eckhart and Courtney Eaton (PerfectStatus Update) as the cop and reporter trying to find the chief’s daughter before the evilest threat to our society kills her.

Jeremy Drysdale (Battlefield 2Grand Theft Parsons) writes with Stephen C Miller(Escape Plan 2: HadeFirst Kill) provides the directing.

No release date yet for The Line of Duty.
