The Russo Brothers teased it for what seemed to be an eternity. The highly anticipated third Avengers film has finally debuted a teaser trailer. Check out the trailer for Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War below.

Sadly, this was never going to be what the comic book was. The omission of Adam Warlock guarantees that. The footage kicks all kinds of ass regardless. According to head honcho Kevin Feige, the Infinity films are going to reshape the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, and most likely this film and the part 2 will be the end of the line for more than one MCU character. I really hope Thanos isn’t killed though . He REALLY shouldn’t be; just like they NEVER should have “killed” Ultron. But that’s just my thinking.

Confirmed cast members for the film include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, and Paul Rudd. A noteworthy absence is Captain Marvel actress Brie Larson who they apparently couldn’t find Room for.

Directors Anthony and Joe Russo are directing both Avengers: Infinity War and the sequel Avengers Infinity Gauntlet. Both films were shot entirely with IMAX cameras. Because bigger is better, etc.

Edit:  This 7 min clip ending with the Infinity War trailer is just to bad ass not to include in this. It just shows how nicely Marvel Studios has set up this 10 year plan:

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a release in theaters on May 4, 2018. The currently untitled follow-up is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
