Pierre Morel Makes Jennifer Garner Go Full Liam Neeson
Director Pierre Morel transformed Liam Neeson into an iconic movie badass in 2008 with the release of Taken, now the French filmmaker hopes to do the same with Jennifer Garner in new movie Peppermint.
Garner plays Riley, whose daughter and husband are gunned down by members linked to the “Garcia cartel.” Manipulative corrupt cops and a shitty justice system let the murderers go free and off the hook. She disappears and spends five years getting ripped and trains how to fight. And when the five-year anniversary of her family’s murder comes along, she comes back for revenge.

Garner is no stranger to kicking ass, she was first introduced to the mainstream as superspy Sydney Bristow on J.J. Abrams’ TV series Alias.
Since then the action roles have been few and far between. Now, in the first trailer for the “female John Wick” film Peppermint, Garner is back cracking skulls.
Peppermint is due in theatres September 7.
