Adult Swim has been on the cutting-edge of adult animation for almost two decades now.
From The Boondocks and Mike Tyson Mysteries to Rick and Morty and the still missing and unaccounted for Korgoth, Adult Swim has produced thousands of hours of cartoon content for grown-ups.
Now famed Cartoon Network creator Genndy Tartakovsky is making his premiere on Adult Swim with Primal, a prehistoric adventure that mashes up caveman and dinosaur:
Primal features a caveman at the dawn of evolution. A dinosaur on the brink of extinction. Bonded by tragedy, this unlikely friendship becomes the only hope of survival in a violent, primordial world.
Pretty cool. Great creatures. Seems like a more fantastical version of last year’s Alpha.
Based on my research, Tartakovsky is the top mainstream animator working today.
Primal is only going to increase his reputation.
Primal gives us the next evolution in adult animation on October 7, 2019.
