With the launch of the highly anticipated second season of Westworld only three weeks away, details are starting to emerge of what might be in store for viewers

Just like at real-world theme parks, with Tomorrowland and Seuss Landing rubbing shoulders with Shamu’s Happy Harbour and the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter, Westworld appears to be one of many parks or areas in a wider resort.

This is not unexpected as Future World and Medieval World were integral parts of the original movie, the movie sequel Futureworld and the short lived 1980s TV show Beyond Westworld.

According to the Delos Destinations website, a viral marketing site set up ready for the 2nd season, Westworld is one of SIX theme parks in the Delos resort.

One park that will definitely feature in S2 is Shogun World where, according to Delos:

“For those for whom Westworld is not enough, the true connoisseur of gore can indulge their fantasies with the slash of a katana. Modeled after Japan’s Edo period, Shogun World offers a chance for guests to embrace their inner warrior, in a landscape of highest beauty and darkest horror. Let your true self take shape in the land where self-discovery is an art form.”

How much Shogun World, or any other parks, may feature will be revealed from April 22nd when the show returns.
