Cyberpunk 2077 is a dystopian futuristic setting based on the tabletop RPG game Cyberpunk 2020, which is appropriate since the game seems likely to launch in 2020. CD Projekt Red released a beautiful but gritty 48 minutes of gameplay. They showed off a female character playing through an early scenario.

The character design for the demo.

Cyberpunk 2077 showed off a dynamic character customization menu that allowed you to change your gender, race, and physical attributes like in a tabletop role-playing game. Game journalists immediately started bleating about them somehow not representing trans, genderfluid, or other genders.

You have a huge variety of looks… but no pronoun slider.

CD Projekt Red didn’t include the 257 other genders or gender fluidity and, according to Eurogamer, this is somehow worth mentioning. The game seems to have some of the most diverse character customization available today. “Not good enough”.

Oh look! SJWs find an excuse to be offended.

These are some of the same voices who tried to make a joke making fun of the perpetually offended to be considered transphobic.

Every year it seems like Tumblr culture creates more crybullies who are desperate to fabricate a social injustice that they can fight against.

All of the serious civil rights issues were resolved in the West before they were born, so they have to create them or pretend that fixed problems have never even been noticed before.

SJW ideology will rot your brain.

This is seriously the point that we have gotten to as a society.

Cultural Marxists are trying to infiltrate every aspect of society to insert identity politics. The idea that we don’t have a binary of male and female is anti-science that should be laughed at, but instead gets taught in colleges.

The SJW hivemind.

How can anyone look at this fantastic gameplay and be upset that their personal politics aren’t on display? I, for one, am ecstatic that no one is trying to indoctrinate people to think like I do. Don’t think like Ido, but please enjoy the gameplay.

A fan of B-movies, comic books, video games, and anime. I have no real expertise and all of my opinions should be regarded as deeply uninformed. I lived through religious right wingers going after Dungeons & Dragons, and now SJWs infesting comic books and gaming. Hopefully one day moral authoritarians will stop touching our things. I want to share geeky things with everyone, but don't like bullies coming in.
