CD Projekt Red is a Polish video game publisher who is best known for The Witcher 3.
I have to admit that both Witcher 2 and Witcher 3 are in my top ten games for their respective console generations. They are also known for being very pro-customer. Their stated goal has been to instead of focusing on DRM that causes annoyances for their paying customers, to focus on making a game people want to pay for.
After The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red’s latest project has been Cyberpunk 2077. A dystopian retro-futuristic setting based on the Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop roleplaying setting.
It will be a first-person, role-playing game and shooter.
The twitter account for CD Projekt Red made a joke.
A completely inoffensive joke, which caused the SJW crybullies to attack. Now they get offended and attack about everything and anything, but sadly CD Projekt Red bent the knee when pushed.
Hundreds of crybullies cried out all as one and then continued to cry out after CD Projekt Red issued a formal apology because that is what crybullies do.
They claim this tweet is “transphobic” because I’m guessing someone just took a gender studies course with the homework of “be offended by something innocuous online”.
Unfortunately with the wave of SJW crybullies, who get a virtue high by pretending that their perpetual state of being offended makes them virtuous, come the SJW game journalists. They have spent the last decade slowly turning gaming from a fun hobby to a political minefield.
This should have been a non-story.
CD Projekt Red did nothing wrong. They made a significant error when they apologized though. You can see hundreds of SJWs coming in for the feeding frenzy now that they smell blood in the water. Click the tweet below to see all of the “Not Good Enough” in their natural habitat.
