Shudder’s Horror Anthology Is Here

Shudder’s panel at Comic-Con yesterday delighted fans with the first-look at revived 80s horror series, Creepshow.

Based on George A. Romero’s 80s horror hit Creepshow, Shudder’s original series will dish up 12 stories spread across six episodes and will debut on the subscription streaming platform Sept. 26

Here’s the trailer:

Tobin Bell, Giancarlo Esposito, Tricia Helfer, DJ Qualls, Big Boi, Kid Cudi, Jeffrey Combs, and David Arquette are among the stars, as is Adrienne Barbeau, who starred in the original.

It is executive produced by The Walking Dead’s Greg Nicotero and Stephen King.

Tom Savini directs the segment By The Silver Water Of Lake Champlain. Also directing is original Creepshow assistant director John Harrison, and Roxanne Benjamin (Body At Brighton Rock), David Bruckner (The Ritual), Rob Schrab (The Sarah Silverman Program) and writers Josh Malerman (Bird Box) and Joe R. Lansdale (Cold In July).

It looks good, we’ll post more on this when we hear it.
