Another Month, Another Cage VOD Release
Well, in spirit of good faith, maybe it is time for Nic Cage to hang up his boots if he’s going to continue to phone it in, and make films like 211.
211, is a reference to the police code “211”, pronounced Two-Eleven which means “robbery in progress”.
Apparently inspired by one of the “longest and bloodiest bank heists in history,” the film’s official synopsis is “It’s a combination of End of Watch meets Black Hawk Down.”
Sure it is.
In his latest (direct-to-VOD) film, Cage plays a retiring cop. With all of today’s modern technology, he doesn’t want any cameras in his face as you can hear him say in the trailer. A metaphor for Cage’s hopefully, impending retirement from ‘acting’? I doubt it, Nic gotta eat.
Momentum releases 211 in select theaters and on VOD from June 8th. Who’s in?
