I’ve found a few trailers that have been released the past few days. I’m not so sure they deserve their own dedicated articles, so I’ve stuffed them all into this one.

Louis Ashbourne Serkis

A young British kid (Louis Ashbourne Serkis) inherits King Arthur’s mythical sword, Excalibur. This now makes him the only line of defense between the world and the evil Morgana (Rebecca Ferguson). His only chance of victory lies in training his fellow classmates to become his knights and fight her dangerous army.

Iron Sky: The Coming Race

Iron Sky: The Coming Race takes us back to the Nazi moon base (last seen in 2012’s Iron Sky) which is overtaken with refugees who have fled planet Earth, along with dinosaurs, apparently.

The synopsis reads:

“Twenty years after the events of Iron Sky, the former Nazi Moonbase has become the last refuge of mankind. Earth was devastated by a nuclear war but buried deep under the wasteland lies a power that could save the last of humanity – or destroy it once and for all. The truth behind the creation of mankind will be revealed when an old enemy leads our heroes on an adventure into the Hollow Earth. To save humanity they must fight the Vril, an ancient shapeshifting reptilian race and their army of dinosaurs.”

Teen Spirit

Teen Spirit is the directorial debut of actor Max Minghella (The Handmaid’s TaleThe Social Network). Elle Fanning (Super 8, I Think We’re Alone Now) leads the cast as a teenager who enters an international singing competition to escape her past.

Here’s the synopsis:

“Violet, a shy teenager living in a small European town, dreams of pop stardom as an escape from her dismal surroundings and shattered family life. With the help of an unlikely mentor, Violet enters an international singing competition that will test her integrity, talent, and ambition.”

The ABC Murders

Based on the works of Agatha Christie, The ABC Murders follows a murder mystery which calls upon famous French detective, Hercule Poirot (John Malkovich) to find the killer and stop them. Premiering on Amazon Prime in the US on February 1, 2019.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“It’s 1933 and a killer travels the length and breadth of Britain via the railway network. The killer uses the alias ABC, and strikes in a methodical pattern, leaving a copy of the ABC railway guide at the scene of each of murder. As Poirot (John Malkovich) attempts to investigate he is thwarted on every front. If he is to match his most cunning nemesis, everything about him will be called into question: his authority, his integrity, his identity.”

The Last Dance

The Last Dance, will chronicle Michael Jordan’s 1997-1998 season with the Chicago Bulls as they marched towards the final championship this epic assembly of legends would win together.

This synopsis reads:

“Michael Jordan opens up in this definitive docuseries about his life and career, which features unseen footage from his final NBA championship run.”
