Trailer Also Gives Us Cybertron

For those that haven’t had enough of the Transformers movies yet, here’s the latest Bumblebee trailer:

Bumblebee, which is the sixth film in the Transformers franchise and a prequel to the main series, isn’t supposed to be like the other Transformers films, Michael Bay is not directing this spinoff. Instead Kubo And The Two Strings director Travis Knight is helming this low-budget project.

The yellow V-Dub Beetle won’t be the only robot to feature in the upcoming movie. It’s already confirmed that Optimus Prime would have a part in the film, and now he makes an appearance in this new teaser, along with Decepticons Soundwave, Ravage, Shatter, and Dropkick.

Official movie poster

Bumblebee is set in the 1980s and stars Hailee Steinfeld and John Cena.

The synopsis of the film reads,

“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”

Here’s the Comic-Con trailer:

So is anyone interested to see if Bumblebee can alter percepticons (sorry) of this franchise when it hits theatres on December 21st 2018.
