In reality, they are sex addicted, drug-enhanced deviants who govern themselves and are above the law.

The Boys are a team of hardcore CIA-sponsored mercenaries whose job it is to keep tabs on the “Supes”. They have their own way of keeping an upper hand when the Supes mess up.

However, the mess they tend to create usually leaves casualties and can bring countries to stand-offs with one another.

Amazon has knocked out a trailer for its adaptation of the Seth Rogen produced comic book series. Here it is:

The Boys stars Karl Urban and Jack Quaid in the lead roles of leader Billy Butcher and new recruit Hughie Campbell.
