So here we are. Another year another Oscar.The complete list of nominees for the 90th Academy Awards, the most prestigious award in Hollywood, have just recently been announced (via oscar.go.com).

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the nominees this morning via live broadcast. They’ve nominated many of the quote on quote best films, and many terrific performances from 2017. As always though there are snubs.

90th Academy Awards Nominations Announced

The Academy has selected a total of nine Best Picture nominees, including: Get Out, Lady Bird, Dunkirk, and Phantom Thread. And this year also sees the first female Best Cinematography nominee ever. So without padding this piece any further, here’s the full list of nominees.

So there it is. Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees. James Franco didn’t get a nomination. I wonder why ? What do you guys think ? Who got snubbed. Who will win. Who will cry ?

I will have to mull this over. I have yet to see many of these films, so this year more than before my Oscar predictions will be a complete coin toss. But I´ll give it go, and hope for the best.

The 90th Academy Awards will take place on Sunday, March 4th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood airing on ABC starting at 7PM (EST) / 4PM (PST).

The upcoming 2018 ceremony is again being hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel.
