Well, So Much For All That
Puerto Rico hasn’t done so well in recent years, what with the earthquakes and the lack of general interest in rebuilding their infrastructure from both the general US population and the Federal Government.
If you pay attention to the shill media that is.
And now, even Hollywood productions, in Puerto Rico for the tax credits, are abandoning the jewel of the Caribbean.

[The trades] have confirmed that the Disney+ Marvel Studios series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has suspended its Puerto Rico location shoot due to the recent earthquakes. Last Tuesday, Puerto Rico was hit with a 6.4 magnitude earthquake along its southern coast, reportedly the island’s biggest in a century. There was another quake Saturday that shook the island with a reading of 5.9.
Mother nature, apparently, is the other Puerto Rican princess that Disney respects.
The People of Puerto Rico Are The Ones Impacted
Obviously, there is a human tragedy here in that people are impacted by lack of electricity, poorly maintained governance, and an over-reliance on US aid to get out of corruption troubles in the past.
These facts—along with the impact of Hurricane Maria ripping the hell out of the island and causing 200,000 people to flee to Florida—has also led, increasingly, to calls for Puerto Rico to become the 51st state in the union, rather than a mere protectorate.
Surely such a move will occur after this news. After all, everyone loves The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

What Are We To Make of All of This?
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier production will move on and film somewhere else, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan surely have already tweeted out their support for the “people impacted in Puerto Rico” and Disney is just being quiet.
Another day, another natural disaster response from the Hollywood left.
