Is Daniel Radcliffe the latest big name to be joining the Marvel Universe?
According to our pals at CBR.com, the man who was once Harry Potter is on Marvel’s list of actors to star in the Disney+ series Moon Knight.
It has already been confirmed that once established on the show, Moon Knight would eventually join the Marvel universe on the big screen as well.
Moon Knight’s secret identity is Marc Spector, who receives his enhanced human powers from the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
The character is often considered to be Marvel’s version of Batman gone crazy.
No other names have come out for the role, but if true it would continue Radcliffe’s transformation from former child star to quirky adult actor.
After starring in the Harry Potter franchise he has made a conscious effort to avoid being typecast by taking on a variety of different roles in such films as the film Horns and the TV series Miracle Workers.
Moon Knight’s Disney+ debut date is not yet known.
