Holy ****, A Quiet Place Was Hateable
It’s probably up there with The Death Of Stalin for setting the land speed record of me walking out of a theater.
As I said in my 2018 roundup: “I wish for a true quiet space. Away from people that like this movie.”
Maybe you have a different opinion. If so, you are wrong.
But the film made $342 million on a budget of around $20 million, so… sequel:
Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.
