I was clicking around “I love the 80s” groups looking for local single moms when I found these photos that show us all the characters from The Dark Crystal: Age Of Resistance and who will be playing them.
It’s god-damn impressive. It just keeps going and going:
Wizard Finder General
That is some high-dollar stock right there, son! Netflix has put serious money into not just the tech and craftsmanship but the talent as well. They gave producer Louis Leterrier a massive amount to work with here, so there is a great chance he can bring this one home.
What Else Do We Know?
As far as the story, the official synopsis is sparse:
In this prequel to the fantasy classic, three young Gelfling inspire a rebellion against the cruel Emperor when they discover a horrifying secret.
Some other details I found online sound true but are not confirmed:
Along with Rian and Deet, Brea is one of the three Gelflings who discover the secret behind the sickness spreading across their land. From there, an adventure unfolds and the fire of rebellion is lit.
