He’s Currently In Talks For The Saint Reboot

Chris Pratt is having discussions right now with Paramount with a view to having the star lead its relaunch of The Saint franchise.

Based on the Leslie Charteris’ 1928 thriller stories, The Saint is international cat burglar and master of disguise, Simon Templar.

On air, we first saw The Saint TV show in 1962 with Roger Moore as Templar. Ian Ogilvy was next in 1978’s Return of The Saint. Val Kilmer’s The Saint in 1997 was very much an action movie. But Kilmer’s character work was top tier.

Little is known about the reboot, except that Lorenzo di Bonaventura is producing. Bonaventura was a producer on the Transformers movies, The Meg and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

Pratt, who last seen as Owen Grady in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, will next be seen in The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part on February 8, 2019.
