The Killer Sofa Concept Seems Solid

Killer Sofa does for does for chairs what Jaws did for sharks!

When a killer Lazy Boy chair falls in love with a girl, it’s up to a disgraced Jewish Rabbi, a Voodoo sorceress and a couple of broken-hearted detectives to figure out how to stop the bloody carnage that will follow.

Check out the trailer below:

Voodoo and Jews together in the same film? What could go wrong here?

Killer Sofa is directed by Bernie Rao. He most recently directed Ina and The Baldlands in 2015.

Killer Sofa is the Type of Horror Movie You Drink Too

Watching the trailer, it seems as though the actors and director are having fun with the idea of a reclining piece of furniture giving it back to the asses that have sat in it for so many years.

I’d rather be standing, but if I’ve gotta sit, it might as well be here.

And, of course, with eyeballs in blenders, recliners climbing up windowsills and into windows and with what looks like an appropriate amount of skin and tension sprinkled throughout, this film looks like the type of bloody gory fun that we’ve come to expect from Bernie Rao.

B-Movie Horror Films Don’t Die, They Multiply

It’s good to see a film like Killer Sofa getting it’s due in a world full of derivative content, concepts, and ideas.

You’ve seen the horror movies. You know what happens to this woman next.

Kind of like Charlie’s Angels.

Killer Sofa becomes yours to own on November 18, 2019.
